Lab Services

WCHC’s laboratory provides lab services for the hospital’s inpatient, emergency, and outpatient departments, as well as for our clinics.  Many local residents who have specialist care providers in Iowa City or Cedar Rapids can have laboratory tests needed to monitor medication and chronic illness performed here.

The WCHC laboratory staff includes seven full-time medical technologists and three full-time skilled phlebotomists. Our highly experienced team utilizes current and cutting-edge technology to deliver highly reliable and accurate testing to healthcare providers across the state of Iowa.

A doctor’s order is required. No appointment is needed.
