For over 100 years, Washington County Hospital and Clinics has been providing healthcare services to Washington County and surrounding community residents.

Washington County Hospital Foundation

Washington County Hospital and Clinics is a vital health care center because of the vision, dedication, and philanthropic commitment of area residents all throughout our hospital's history. The hospital started with a gift of an 11-acre tract of land, donated by William Perry Wells. Today, the WCH|Foundation is working hard to keep the spirit of giving alive.

Incorporated in July of 1995, the WCH|Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. As the fundraising entity of WCHC, the foundation serves to encourage, accept, and steward all public and private gifts, grants, and contributions to make a difference at WCHC. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors who carry out the necessary duties of the organization.

Active Campaign

Annual Appeal: WCH|Foundation's Annual Appeal is crucial to help us continue supporting creative and essential endeavors at WCHC! In the last year, we were able to put up matching dollars for a grant to implement a new patient monitoring system that will allow all patients to be monitored continuously during their stay. This was made possible by YOU and YOUR generosity! Join this year's appeal here to help us do even more next year!

Gift of Gratitude: Many patients and families ask how they can express gratitude for the exceptional care they received during their time with us at WCHC. That is why we established the GIFT OF GRATITUDE Program!

During your visit, was there a nurse, doctor, therapist, food service worker, volunteer, or other caregiver who helped you through your journey? Consider honoring them with a Gift of Gratitude.

When a donation is made honoring a staff member, that special staff member will receive a personalized message from you (if you choose) and a card letting them know of the honor they received. If you choose to recognize a team or unit, the team will receive a Gift of Gratitude certificate to be hung in their department.

All honorees, both individuals and team, will get their photo taken to be shared amongst staff and on WCH|Foundation's social media page.
