Home Sleep Study

Having sleep troubles? Your clinician might suggest that you complete a Home Sleep Study. Our Home Sleep Study can be conducted in the convenience and comfort of your home.

Set-up

Your first appointment will be in our Neurology Clinic and will last approximately 30-45 minutes. Our staff will customize the fit of the testing equipment and give you step-by-step instructions on what to do for the sleep study.

Assesments

The home sleep study will be done over two nights, which will then be read and interpreted by WCHC Neurologist, Dr. Todd Ajax. Once Dr. Ajax has read your sleep study, he will advise you on the next steps in getting a good nights sleep. The Home Sleep Study provides a detailed assessment of:

• How quickly you fall asleep
  
• How deeply you sleep
  
• How often and how long you are awake during the night
  
• Assess snoring
  
• Evaluate breathing disorders
