WCHC's Inpatient department highlights all the important aspects to meet specialized medical and surgical needs of critically ill and injured patients. Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants. They provide 24 hour nursing care for medical and surgical patients of all ages. All of our Nursing Staff are trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
An interdisciplinary team will be working together to provide your care and to prepare you for discharge. Our highly trained staff knows that each patient is unique and will base your patient care on individual physical and emotional needs. During your stay at WCHC, you will receive patient education and information that is important to your quick recovery and future health.
Comfortable Care
When you are hospitalized, we know you expect a swift and safe recovery. WCHC will provide you the best
skilled care in a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment. The Medical/Surgical floor features 22 Inpatient beds with many convenient amenities. All patient rooms are private with a large bathroom that features a walk-in shower. WCHC understands support from family members often allows for a quicker recovery. WCHC wants to not only accommodate the patient, but also their families. A family area and daybeds are featured in every room, so family members may stay and feel comfortable and "at home" while in our facility. Big windows are featured in every room to allow the patient to view the landscaped exteriors and enjoy the natural sunlight.
Discharge
Getting you back to your daily life quickly is our top priority. We plan for your discharge when you are admitted and continue through your hospital stay. We will help you and your family prepare for your discharge time to ensure your transportation will be available and your return home will be as timely as possible.
