Imaging
Whether you are an outpatient or admitted to our hospital, the Imaging Department works closely with your physician to provide the right diagnostic testing for you. Results are sent to your physician as soon as possible to allow you and your physician to promptly discuss care options.
The Imaging Department at Washington County Hospital and Clinics offers a variety of imaging services to meet the needs of our patients and community. The department is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Well-Qualified Staff
Our Imaging team is composed of highly trained and qualified licensed technologists. All technologists are registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and the Iowa Department of Public Health. Many of our technologists sub-specialize in other areas of imaging services.
Contracted, board-certified Radiologists work with Washington County Hospital and Clinics to provide all interpretive results and performs all necessary procedures requiring a Radiologist's expertise. Our Radiology Group is Radiology Consultants of Iowa (RCI).

Mammography Assistance Program
Washington County Hospital and Clinics Imaging Department has a Pink Party for the Cure Mammography assistance program to assist underinsured and uninsured women. To learn more please call imaging at 319-863-3964 and ask to speak to one of the mammogram technologists.
