Biography:
Jessie has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2009. With a special interest to help patients dealing with mental health and mood disorders, Jessie received certification in mental health services in 2020. Jessie treats patients of all ages with a specialized focus to evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals dealing with mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders.
Known to emphasize openness, compassion, and flexibility in her care. Jessie is dedicated to understand each patient's life experiences and health goals. She values the relationship between provider and patient and strives to build a foundation of trust to guide patients through a healthy and active life.
In addition to serving the health needs of patients, Jessie lends her knowledge to educate the next generation of nurse practitioners. She has served as a lecturer and faculty for the University of Iowa, College of Nursing and Mount Mercy University.
