Matt has enjoyed a career in healthcare for the last 10 years, He worked in Dementia care and Inpatient Medical Psychiatry as well as in Burn and Trauma. Most recently, he worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals with the Internal Medicine Hospitalist Service. Matt desires to get to know his patients as well as make them feel valued. Listening to his patients concerns and addressing them as much as possible is a top priority for Matt. He has had years of experience in wound care during his time in healthcare and has started seeing patients in the WCHC Wound Clinic outside of his time on the WCHC Hospitalist Service.
Matt enjoys spending time with his family, Being outdoors and watching Hawkeye football. Matt has been married to his best friend, MaryAnn, for 10 years and has one daughter. When he's not working, he takes regular trips to see his family in Northwest Arkansas and Florida. In his free time, Matt loves to work outside and completing home improvement projects.
