Dr. Frier was raised and attended school in Washington, Iowa. He began practicing osteopathic medicine in 1982. Dr. Frier served in the Air Force as a US Air Force Physician. After serving seven years in the Air Force, Dr. Frier moved to Columbus Junction, where he continued to practice until 1994. Since, Dr. Frier has been providing care at the Medical Clinic in his hometown of Washington.
Lately, he has been developing a commercial Aronia berry farm. His other hobbies include woodworking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
