Comprehensive Diabetes Care

Diabetes affects many people and is not just a single disorder. Many diabetic patients suffer from high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, and poor nutrition. To provide patients with the best care our comprehensive diabetes care may include endocrinology services to provide the medical management of your disease as well as Diabetes Education. In collaboration with Endocrinology Services, WCHC offers Diabetes Education to provide patients the tools and guidelines to best self-manage their diabetes. Diabetes Education includes the review of nutrition, physical activity, monitoring of blood sugars, medication, prevention and risk factors, practical problem solving, and healthy coping.
