Washington County Hospital Foundation to hold Ninth Annual Care for Our Kids Golf Event

The Washington County Hospital Foundation will hold its Ninth Annual Care for Our Kids Golf Event on Friday, May 18th at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort.  The goal of this year’s event is to raise money for healthcare services for children in our area. The funds raised will fund hawk-I health insurance premiums for Washington County kids, help fund the purchase of AED’s for  Washington County schools, and fund a Vein Finder for the hospital.

This pro-am event will feature teams paired up with pros from around the state. Last year’s event raised funds to pay premiums for children enrolled in the hawk-I insurance program, and to purchase needed equipment for the hospital.  Proceeds have helped to fund new state of the art equipment for the Family Birthing Center at WCHC, an infant security system, and pay premiums for many Washington County kids enrolled in the hawk-I insurance program.

The event kicks off with introductions and lunch.  After the teams enjoy golf, the event wraps up with a recognition ceremony and reception at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort.
