Since 1968, WCHC has been providing long term care to area residents. In 1988 the McCreedy Home was built to provide quality long-term care. The facility was named after Dr. M.L. McCreedy, one of Washington's most noted physicians.
Our skilled staff assists our many physicians, therapists and specialists in helping our 43 residents achieve their highest level of health and independence. Being attached to the main hospital building allows convenient access to many health services. Our residents and staff enjoy our "home away from home" attitude. An array of activities and events are only a few of our approaches toward providing a home -like environment. For more details about our activities and events please view our monthly calendar and quarterly newsletters, which are available on-line.
The McCreedy Home is attached to Washington County Hospital and Clinics. This enables services such as IV therapies, x-rays, physical therapy and physician visits to be provided without leaving the comfort of the building.
