Spiritual Support

Spiritual Care Services

Washington County Hospital and Clinics is able to provide for spiritual care services through a volunteer chaplaincy department, primarily from the Washington Ministerial Association, offering spiritual services to patients and their families. This is done in a manner that affirms the pastor’s religious traditions and training, but which does not violate the patient’s religious tradition.

Clergy are available to provide spiritual care services to patients and their families in all areas of the hospital.  To reach a Chaplain, patients should ask a nurse or Social Services to reach the appropriate Chaplain.
