Deborah Clendening is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Mrs. Clendening is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her BA in Nursing from the University of Florida and a Master's in Nursing from the University of South Florida. She has over thirteen years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, most recently working at Long Term Care of Tidewater in Norfolk, VA. Mrs. Clendening has worked in internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, geriatrics, emergency and urgent care.
Mrs. Clendening has been married for twenty-seven years and she and her husband have bought a farmhouse near Kalona. She says that the reason she became a Nurse Practitioner was to make more of a difference in patient's lives. She has a special interest in rural healthcare and patient education and is looking forward to meeting the people of Keota and surrounding areas. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crafts, quilting and is looking to buy Belgium Draft horses.
